These people got me waiting and waiting and waiting.

I think they take me for a joke, so I think that it is time to stop playing nice and to start showing my ass.

Well…maybe I shouldn’t because then I might lose my funding.

I sigh heavily as someone familiar catches my attention out of the corner of my eye as I sit outside at TGIF on Sand Lake Road waiting on my lunch.

I look up and see that it is J.R. niece Toya.

I yell to her and wave.

She looks at me strangely, so I say, “If you might spare me a moment of your time, I can tell you who I am.”

She seem a bit annoyed at me interrupting her.

I smirk and fake smile all at the same time.

What a little attitudal little tramp.

I put my hand out and say, “Pardon my interruption. I just wanted to introduce myself. I’m Ida Jean.”

She looks at my hand but does not shake it.

I drop it when she says, “And?”

I say, “And I’m Sarai’s mother.”

She says, “Sarai?”

I say, “Yes. Sarai. J.R.’s daughter.”

She looks surprised and I believe that I might have just cashed a check that probably will be bouncing.
